The Elect Football Academy is designed to allow players to access elite level of coaching under their Player Development Pathway. The Academy is player centered with focus around individual improvement in their technical, physical, social and psychological attributes. The Academy encourages players to express themselves with the ball and help them become imaginative and skilful footballers.

Technical training

The training is based around technical and tactical coaching sessions aimed to challenge and engage a range of player levels. Classroom based sessions focus on player analysis, nutrition, and the social and psychological elements a modern day athlete need to understand and view themselves via video analysing.

endurance training

Players are placed on according to their level and age. there will be multiple training sessions per week, along with added strength and conditioning sessions. This will include yoga and circuit training. Players also will have the opportunity to compete in matches and tournaments, after approval of their player license.

goal keeper training options

Goalkeepers have the opportunity to get goalkeeper specific training as a part of their trainings with the Elect Football Academy teams. The goalie training is provided according to the teams’ weekly training plans whereby some days and trainings, goalkeepers will train and be integrated with the field players and team drills, playing their position, and on some days getting goalkeeper specific training and drills.

OUR GOAL

Elect Academy has a goal to ensure that every player is able to showcase their talents to professional clubs within and outside the country. For those players who are identified as showing exceptional pro player qualities, we will organise trials with interested clubs. All players that come through the academy will experience what it is like to train like a professional player with the end goal of securing a pro contract.

Our culture is built around the development process and bringing our players progressively through our development pathways from Preparation Academy all the way through to our Elite Development Squads for players who are looking to transition from youth football into senior or professional level football, either domestically or overseas.
